General Guidelines
Respectful Communication: Critique ideas, not individuals. Avoid personal attacks and do not use language that may be seen as offensive or derogatory, including slurs related to gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, or religion.
Community Contribution: Adhere to the established guidelines and workflows when contributing to the wiki. If you require assistance or have questions, feel free to reach out to an administrator or a community member.
Editing Etiquette: Engage constructively. Continuous edit conflicts (“edit warring”) over content disagreements with other users are discouraged.
Promotional Activity: Limit self-promotion. The wiki is intended as a collaborative space and not for advertising personal projects or external links. Unsure if your content is appropriate? Consult with an administrator.
User Interaction: Do not harass other users. Respect personal boundaries and cease interactions when requested.
Civility in Debate: Maintain civility during discussions and debates. Do not provoke or troll other users.
Safety and Security: Threats, spam, and vandalism against users or the wiki are prohibited. Report any such activities to an administrator immediately.
Blocking Policy
Users may be subject to blocking for the following actions:
- Persistent vandalism or spamming.
- Intentional misgendering or disrespect towards an individual's identity or personal facts.
- Repeated harassment, including threats, disclosure of personal information, and ignoring requests for privacy.
- Continual involvement in edit conflicts.
- Personal attacks on other users.
- Soliciting personal details from users, such as age or location.
Blocking durations start at 24 hours and may extend based on the severity and frequency of violations. If you believe a block has been imposed unfairly, contact an administrator on their Community Central message wall for review.
Page Protection Guidelines
Most pages are open for editing by the community to foster inclusivity. Page protection will be applied under circumstances such as:
- Persistent vandalism.
- Ongoing edit conflicts.
- Essential maintenance of core wiki features (e.g., logos, templates, main and policy pages).
Inappropriate reasons for page protection include:
- Disagreements with site administrators or moderators.
- Reserving a page for future edits.
- Declaring a page as complete—wiki pages can always be improved.
